Register for BCAP Summer Camp

Registration for Summer Camp 2017 opened February 1st!


How do I sign up?

Starting February 1st, just click the green "Register / Log In" button on the right, create an account, and add your child. (Or if you already have an account, just log in. You received a new password for 2017 in your email.)

Our online registration tool, CampSite, will guide you through completing your online forms and paying a deposit. *Financial aid applicants should please read the instructions below.

Note: You may choose only ONE two-week session. BCAP Summer Camp is a 2-week camp program.
FYI: BCAP Summer Camp starts filling up in February. Register early!

How much does it cost?


Session 1: $665*
Session 2: $715
Session 3: $715

*Families who enroll for session 1 will be charged less because this session is one day shorter due to the July 4th holiday.

Fees include your non-refundable deposit.

Stay & Play After-Camp Program

Cost: $215 for two weeks, 3:30-6pm

*Limited spaces available, for those in need of after-care only.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available for qualifying families on a sliding scale, and BCAP is happy to reserve 50% of our spots in camp for financial aid recipients. Applying for financial aid for BCAP is quick and easy. Please read the instructions here.

Please follow up with the next steps immediately after starting your financial aid application online. Your spot will be held for 48 hours while you do so. Spots are filled on a first come, first served basis, upon submitting:

1) Complete online registration forms 2) Income Document* 3) Deposit

*Tip: File your 2016 taxes early so your income document is ready! We will use your form 1040 to calculate the maximum award for you.


2016 alumni families, BCAPteen alumni siblings, and partner institution employees applying without financial aid can receive an early bird discount for Summer Camp 2017. To be eligible, you must complete your reservation and online documents, and pay your deposit by February 28th!

Making Your Payment


A minimum $50 deposit per child ($10 if applying with financial aid) is required to reserve your spot in camp.  You will pay your deposit when registering for camp. Your deposit is non-refundable.

Payment Options

Final payments are due no later than June 1st. Payment plans are available. Paying with a credit card through our online registration system is easy and convenient. BCAP also accepts checks or money orders made out to "Brooklyn Public Library", which can be dropped off or mailed to our office. We cannot accept cash.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your reservation, a partial refund may be granted up until six (6) weeks before the first day of your camp session. No refunds can be made after this date. Your deposit is non-refundable..
